Model Training Workshop at CASS ART

We're thrilled to invite you to our Model Training Workshop, which was crafted to introduce aspiring and early-career life models to the vibrant arts community here in Glasgow.

From igniting creativity in traditional classes to embracing the digital realm, our sessions offer a comprehensive overview of the modelling experience. Our goal is to equip each attendee with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the diverse landscape of artistic expression.

During the three-hour workshop, we'll delve into various aspects of posing, explore intentionality, and foster collaborative learning among participants. The first two hours will focus on clothed exercises, providing a comfortable environment for skill development. The optional second part allows models to gain experience in nude posing, although participation is voluntary.

We aim to provide opportunities for those eager to pursue paid work when we believe a model is prepared. We prioritise ensuring attendees feel confident and supported in their journey toward live modelling engagements.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the workshop to settle in comfortably; timely attendance is appreciated to maintain the flow of the session. Space is limited, so booking in advance is essential—no drop-ins, please!

What to Bring/Wear: Bring ID (models must be 18+ for nude classes), wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement (e.g., shorts and a T-shirt), and consider bringing your own yoga mat for posing. If participating in the nude portion, bring a gown or robe for changing.

Pricing Info: Standard tickets are priced at £15, with a discounted rate of £10 for students and the unemployed. We understand financial constraints and are committed to ensuring accessibility; please reach out if you require assistance. Tickets are non-refundable due to limited space availability.
